    ….and probably failing. Wanna see my faux-healthy lunch that I made for tomorrow?


    It’s quinoa, spinach, mushrooms, and an unholy amount of parmesan cheese. It’s pretty good and maybe I’ll make it again without (so much) cheese.

    If you’re wondering how I made it: I made the quinoa, cooked the mushrooms in EVOO, and thawed the spinach, then mixed the three together with enough salt, pepper, garlic powder and cheese to make it taste unhealthy.


    Also, can I please take this moment to briefly self-promote? It’s still freezing cold outside, and I think it would be a great idea for you to buy one of my scarves! Each one is knitted by yours truly.

  2. Salmon so easy a child could do it

    Happy hundredth post!

    Remember that time I showed you a really really easy way to make chicken? Well making salmon is even easier. Trust me, I was afraid of making salmon until this year. I wish I’d known before how easy it was! So if you’re tired of all your disposable income going towards someone else cooking food for you (which I’m not, but still), or you want to learn how to cook something new, follow along!


    First, preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Let it get hot. Then, put foil on a baking sheet, and put your salmon on it. Put whatever you want on your salmon. I’m using jerk seasoning again because I love it.
