Sandwiches in Paris

June 1, 2013 by Emily Pergament

Sandwiches may have been my favorite food in Paris.

There were the cold ones with meat and cheese that sat out all day (my favorite):

The ones that sat out all day and then were stuck in the panini press or oven:IMG_2326

The only croque monsieur we had. It wasn’t very good. Also, I think this is the only time they use sliced bread.

The hot dogs they had in every food stand. It’s a baguette sliced open, with a hot dog inside, with melted cheese all over the top.

And on one of the last days, we had a pita (I guess?) with ham and cheese melted inside. It was from a Lebanese stand in a market. It was so good!

Were their hot dogs the same as our hot dogs?
