Bonfire and Banter

April 24, 2013 by Emily Pergament

Two bars we have eaten at in Forest Hills.

We went to Bonfire tonight. We got salads and a side of onion ribbons, natch.

Rob’s salad had strawberries, feta, chicken, glazed walnuts, and whatever else you see above.

Mine had spinach, BACON, onions, mushrooms and goat cheese.

bonfire3And these are onion ribbons and spicy mayo. Heaven on Earth can be found in Forest Hills.

We went to Banter on Sunday night.

Little did we know…

…there would be live music! The violin (fiddle?) player was very good. There was a guitar player too who was also good.

I had fish and chips, but don’t worry, I didn’t eat most of the batter on the fish! Yuck that makes my arteries hurt just looking at that.

banter2And Rob had chicken pot pie. In a tea cup.

Alright, I just needed to give a quick update – I know it has been a while since I posted. We are still moving in, and things are a little hectic. But, as you can see, we’ve made time to eat!

Happy hump day dreams, one and all.

I like the cpp in a teacup. That is a charming presentation!
