  1. “A case of hidden spinach”

This is what Rob said about the chicken I made because he couldn’t taste the spinach.

I stayed home from work today so I decided to try to make something more complicated than I normally would. I saw this popular pin on Pinterest showing the steps on making this recipe, but I couldn’t find the link to the original recipe for the life of me! From the pictures, I could tell what to do pretty much. After seeing this pin for months and months, I finally saw the original recipe here, but that was a sheer coincidence that I had decided to make it today.

Astorians, listen up! If you enjoy eating, you need to go to the Butcher Bar. Even if you don’t enjoy eating, go. It’s so so good. I don’t have the adjectives or adverbs to adequately describe it. And that is a shame because it deserves so much more praise that I will be able to give, but I will try my best.

  4. Bice

I have some news that may come as a shock to some of you. I am with child. That child is a food baby.

After a God awful start to the week, tonight is just what I needed. Phyllis and I went to Bice with this deal from Travel Zoo. And since the deal entitled us to each get an appetizer, pasta dish and entree, that’s what we did.

Warning: What you are about to see made me extremely full and I do not suggest that any human being consume the quantity of food that I did tonight. That said, it was amazing.

What a great end to the weekend! I bought a box of Tagalongs from some Brownies at the mall today. It’s not my favorite kind, but Keebler’s makes knock offs of Thin Mints (here) and Samoas (here), which are my two favorites; so I can get those cheaper and just down the block at the grocery store.

What’s your favorite kind of Girl Scout cookies?

Will you take the risk and continue to eat delicious processed meat?

It’s a quesedilla, made with whole wheat tortillas, pepper jack cheese and rotisserie chicken. It’s the easiest snack, and by God, it’s delicious!
