We went to dinner with Mark and Claire to Sugar Freak, a New Orleans-y restaurant in Astoria.
Rob had a fried catfish poboy.
Mark had a fried chicken and macaroni and cheese poboy.
I’ve never been to NOLA so I can’t say how authentic the above dish is. I do know it’s not a meal that should be eaten regularly, regardless. Who’s feeling their arteries hardening right about now?
I had a turkey burger, and it was boring. I wish I’d gotten something more NOLA-esque. Next time!
