I don’t know how I missed this article last week. It’s by the NYT, and it’s about Bobwhite Lunch & Supper Counter, where the main dish is fried chicken. The NYT calls the fried chicken “the kind you dream about.” Holy cow. They baste their chicken in sweet tea before frying it! How have I not heard of this place?! I’ve never been to Avenue C, but I believe I found a reason to make the trip.
